Rabbi’s letter: I wish!
Dear Friend,
By now youāve gotten a myriad of texts, whatsapps, emails, and some letters. Some have music and animation, others are just text. But they all have one purpose: To wish you a Shana Tova.
The Baal Shem Tov (1698-1760) taught that with each word and expression of good wishes one to another, we create another angel who can represent us on Rosh Hashanah. So donāt tire of receiving these messages and donāt tire of sending- and saying- them!
Sara and I, together with our kinderlach, wish you a Shana tova umetuka, a year filled with Hashemās richest blessings in material and spiritual matters. A year of nachas, good health and prosperity. A year where we serve as mashpiāim, givers and bestower to others- whether giving money, care, love, wisdom or anything else that the Al-mighty has endowed uniquely you with.
In Yiddishkeit 10 is an important number. I am excited to spend our 10th Yom Tov together (yes, time flies!) and I pray that together, we continue to grow to ever new heights.
Shabbat shalom, shana tova, and happy reading!
Rabbi Dovid Wineberg
