Dear Friend,  They say (in Yiddish) that “a gahst oif a vahyel, zet oif a mile”. A guest for a while, see a whole mile. So when our guest speaker at Daven e caffe gave his impression of SA, I listened carefully. When that guest is from the ground zero of Coronavirus- China- you listen even more carefully.  So it was with pride & hope that we heard Rabbi Shimon Freundlich, director of Chabad Beijing, speak so positively about SA’s response and the effectiveness & dignity of our President, Cyril Ramaphosa.  What a blessing! The rabbi urged us to carefully follow government instructions, and gave us hope for a slow but gradual opening, although it’ll be a long time before things return to ‘normal’. Tonight’s Virtual Kabbalat Shabbat will feature new melodies, youth choir solos and special birthday blessings! 5-5:45pm Should you have:Name of someone who needs healingName of an upcoming yohrtzeit Name of a birthday being celebrated in the next week Please reply to this email or WhatsApp the info to me ASAP.  See you at 5!
